Oh my dear!!!!!!!!

I thought this massive loss happened 5-10 years ago! Had no idea it was so recent 🙏🙏

I can't believe how strong and vibrant you are right now, given this is still all so fresh.

Love you, lots of love 💙💜💙

I really hope vipasana will be enlightening 😉

Vanessa. I was a friend of your mother's, though we were notbparticularly close and she was

four or five years older than me, but I remember her fondly it St. Andrew's Sewanee. And your uncle Sean and I've been close since boyhood, and still are.

This morning, a friend of mine left this world in my driveway sitting in my mother's car. He had been battling drug addiction and had come to me for some help and solace. I had to go to Atlanta for some

business and to be with my girlfriend who had work down there. I received the news this morning. My mother found him. He'd been here four or five days. It' hard to swallow at the moment.

I'm quite familiar with the Bardo Thodol; in fact, one of my nicknames is "Tardy Bardo" . It was a gifted name from a former bandmate who I played with in the mid 1990s in a band called H@PE (the @ is a spiral Galaxy). Anyway, Anita Colley just forwarded me this beautiful post, and in my deep and shaking grief at the moment, I have gained some peace. And for that I'm

grateful.
